Candidates are expected to give 28 hours per week to their research at their home base, which must provide adequate technological resources for the development of their practice. Each composite session, typically, involves a research update seminar in which all students individually make a 90 minute presentation for discussion by the group; a three stage critique by all members of the group in respect to each others work; individual tutorials with supervisors; and a public symposium.
